Additional Needs Event on the 28th October 2026 6pm – 8pm
Waterworld is delighted to be hosting another Additional Needs Evening on Wednesday 28th October 2026, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Our Additional Needs Evenings are designed to provide a more relaxed and welcoming environment for guests with additional needs, disabilities and autism, together with their families and carers.
The Aqua Park will be open exclusively for guests attending the event, with reduced capacity to help minimise queuing and a number of adjustments in place to make the evening as enjoyable and accessible as possible.
During the evening:
- No music will be played, with only essential announcements made.
- Guest numbers are capped to help reduce queues and create a calmer environment.
- Our friendly team will be on hand to assist guests and families throughout the evening.
- Flotation devices will be available for guests to use.
- Guests will have the opportunity to ride selected slides with a carer where permitted during the event.
- All rides and attractions will be open, with the exception of the Nucleus and Outdoor Pool.
These events have become incredibly popular with families who may find visiting during a standard busy session more challenging. They provide an opportunity to experience Waterworld in a more relaxed setting alongside other families who understand the additional support some guests may require.
Previous visitors have told us how much they value being able to enjoy the water, slides and attractions without the pressures that can sometimes come with a busier environment. Seeing guests enjoying themselves, gaining confidence in the water and experiencing the attractions together is what makes these evenings so special for our team.
