Water Safety Event Saturday 20th June At Waterworld
This week, Waterworld is proud to be supporting UK National Drowning Prevention Week, a vital campaign led by the Royal Life Saving Society UK, focused on educating people about how to stay safe in, on and around water.
As the summer months approach, water safety becomes even more important. Whether visiting a waterpark, swimming pool, beach, lake or river, understanding how to enjoy water safely can help protect lives and give families greater confidence around water.
To help share this important message, we will be hosting a special community water safety event at Waterworld on Saturday 20th June, from 10am to 3pm.
Throughout the day, professionals from Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, STA and Staffordshire Fire & Rescue will be outside the building, speaking with guests and sharing important advice on water safety, accident prevention and what to do in an emergency.
The event is a great opportunity for families, swimmers and visitors of all ages to learn more about staying safe around water, while also enjoying a visit to their favourite Aqua Park.
At Waterworld, safety is always at the heart of what we do. We are proud to support this national campaign and help raise awareness of the simple steps everyone can take to enjoy water safely this summer.
Together, we can help spread this important message and make sure more people enjoy water safely.
